Solutions Engineer (Dubai)

About the role

The Solutions Engineer acts as the technical bridge between Quvia’s customers and its engineering teams. You will assess customer networks, capture requirements and design solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes, guiding projects from qualification through proof‑of‑concept to production.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with sales to evaluate customer networks, translate technical requirements into tailored solution designs and define clear ROI.
• Design, test and deploy multi‑path traffic orchestration across satellite and terrestrial environments, configuring edge, cloud and data‑center profiles.
• Lead end‑to‑end proof‑of‑concepts: set success criteria, specify hardware, install, configure and validate Quvia systems.
• Troubleshoot complex issues with customers, QA and engineering, and manage handoff from POC to production.
• Automate solution delivery using scripting (Python), REST APIs and configuration templating.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of network engineering experience in terrestrial and/or satellite communications, including multi‑link architectures.

Required skills

• Deep networking fundamentals: routing, switching, network security, wireless and datacenter networking.
• Hands‑on experience with SDN and multi‑vendor SD‑WAN platforms (Fortinet, VMware VeloCloud, Cisco Meraki/Viptela, Cradlepoint, Palo Alto).
• Scripting and DevOps in networking: Python, REST APIs, configuration orchestration, zero‑touch provisioning.
• Virtual infrastructure management: VMware vSphere, Hyper‑V, KVM.
• Knowledge of satellite communication (SATCOM) systems and cloud‑hosted NGFW (Azure, AWS) is a plus.
