About the role

The Bridgewater Tavern, located within JW Marriott Marquis Dubai, is seeking a dynamic Sous Chef to lead daily kitchen operations. You will work in a fast‑paced, 5‑star environment, supporting the Executive Chef and ensuring the highest culinary standards for our diverse menu.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of kitchen preparation, cooking, and plating for the restaurant.
• Manage kitchen staff, schedule shifts, and conduct training to maintain consistency and quality.
• Monitor inventory, control food costs, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu development, special events, and guest feedback.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a high‑volume, upscale restaurant or hotel kitchen.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Excellent time‑management and organizational skills.
• Passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
