Sous Chef Turkish Cuisine

About the role

SIHAMCO is looking for an experienced Sous Chef to lead the culinary direction of a new Turkish fine‑dining concept. The role combines authentic Turkish flavours and traditional techniques with a contemporary, luxury dining experience. This is a seasonal six‑month contract based in Saudi Arabia, with visa and relocation support provided.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a sophisticated menu inspired by Turkey’s regional culinary heritage.
• Create signature dishes that blend traditional Turkish flavours with modern fine‑dining presentation.
• Lead menu tastings, trials, and final menu development, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Oversee all pre‑opening activities, including SOP creation, kitchen design support, equipment planning, and supplier selection.
• Recruit, train, and manage a multicultural kitchen brigade, maintaining high standards of food preparation and service.
• Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.

Required profile

• Deep knowledge of Turkish cuisine and its regional diversity.
• Proven experience in a senior kitchen role within fine‑dining or upscale hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team‑building abilities.
• Ability to work under high‑volume service pressure while maintaining luxury standards.
