Spa Receptionist

About the role

At Fairmont Hotel Dubai, you will be the first point of contact for guests entering the spa, delivering a warm and inviting welcome. You will provide efficient, courteous service and possess thorough knowledge of all spa treatments and retail products.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, provide information about spa facilities and services, and handle reservations for treatments and personal training sessions.
• Maintain accurate guest reservation details, manage cash and credit transactions, and adhere to cash‑handling policies.
• Control access to spa areas, ensuring only authorized individuals enter.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and retail products, and conduct spa tours when required.
• Follow occupational health and safety regulations and report any suspicious activity to hotel security.

Required profile

• Minimum of one year experience in the spa industry or hospitality.
• Outstanding guest service skills with professional presentation and strong verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑changing environment and manage cash accurately.

Required skills

• Computer literacy in Windows operating system.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• Experience using Fidelio PMS system.
• Familiarity with SpaSoft software.
• Knowledge of Micros point‑of‑sale system.
