Spa Therapist – Luxury Hotel

About the role

As a Spa Therapist at the Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre, you will deliver personalised spa treatments and exceptional guest care in a Forbes Five‑Star luxury environment, upholding the True Waldorf Service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests throughout their spa journey, providing warm, discreet, and personalised service.
• Perform professional massages, facial and body treatments in line with spa protocols and guest preferences.
• Conduct consultations, understand guest needs and recommend appropriate treatments and home‑care products.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all spa treatments, products, facilities and current promotions.
• Promote spa treatments and retail products to enhance guest experience and support revenue performance.
• Ensure treatment rooms, locker rooms and lounges remain clean, organised and well presented.
• Support accurate appointment management, including bookings, confirmations, amendments and cancellations.
• Process treatment and retail charges accurately and report any billing discrepancies.
• Report maintenance issues, equipment faults and safety concerns promptly to the Spa Manager.
• Uphold Waldorf Astoria brand standards, Forbes Five‑Star standards and True Waldorf Service throughout all guest interactions.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Spa Therapist within a luxury hospitality environment.
• Relevant qualification or certification in massage, beauty therapy or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of spa treatments, products, hygiene and health‑and‑safety standards.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Professional grooming and presentation standards.
• Warm, discreet, guest‑focused interpersonal approach with the ability to identify guest needs.
• Positive attitude and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining Forbes Five‑Star service standards.
• Advantageous: previous experience in a Forbes Five‑Star or luxury hotel spa and additional recognised spa or wellness certifications.
