About the role
Future Tense is seeking a dedicated Special Education (SEN) Teacher to join its team in Dubai. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality instruction to students with autism and other special needs, fostering an inclusive learning environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement programmes of learning activities tailored to special needs.
- Plan, prepare and research lessons, adapting materials as required.
- Utilise specialised facilities and equipment to support student learning.
- Provide individual, small‑group and class‑wide teaching sessions.
- Assess student work, give constructive feedback, and monitor progress.
- Offer pastoral support and encourage personal development.
- Attend meetings, reviews and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Liaise with parents, external agencies, speech‑language therapists, physiotherapists and educational psychologists.
- Prepare detailed reports and coordinate support staff activities.
Required profile
- Female candidates with a background in special needs education.
- Proven experience teaching students with autism.
- Relevant qualification in Special Needs or Special Education.
