Specialist – Asset Services (Emiratized)

About the role

First Abu Dhabi Bank is seeking an Emiratized Specialist in Asset Services to join its Funds Custody & Issuer Services department. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality custody services, managing corporate actions, and ensuring regulatory compliance across local, regional, and international markets.

Key responsibilities

• End‑to‑end processing of corporate actions for equities, mutual funds, fixed income, hedge funds, structured funds and ETFs, ensuring accurate and timely execution.
• Monitor and reconcile client positions with sub‑custodians and markets, handling accruals, entitlements and settlement discrepancies.
• Communicate corporate‑action notifications to clients, collect responses for voluntary events, and submit instructions to sub‑custodians before deadlines.
• Validate and authorise SWIFT messages, cash/FX settlements and voucher sign‑offs, escalating mismatches to the AVP.
• Support tax reclaim and proxy services, and participate in system upgrades, project work and SLA implementation.
• Maintain KPI/KRI monitoring, risk controls and incident reporting to ensure compliance with audit standards.

Required profile

• University degree or at least five years of relevant experience in securities services, back‑office operations or corporate actions.
• Solid understanding of security services, accounting activities related to securities and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong execution skills, high accuracy, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Team‑oriented attitude with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
