Specialist, Business Continuity Planning

About the role

The Business Continuity & Crisis Management Specialist will lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of Chalhoub Group’s Business Continuity Management (BCM) and Crisis Management frameworks. Acting as the subject‑matter expert, the specialist partners with business and functional leaders to assess risks, strengthen preparedness, and coordinate response and recovery activities across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance the Group’s BCM policies, standards and governance requirements.
• Facilitate risk assessments, business impact analyses and scenario testing to identify critical processes and recovery priorities.
• Coordinate crisis response, communication and recovery plans during incidents, ensuring alignment with HSSE governance.
• Provide guidance and training to business units on continuity and crisis management best practices.
• Monitor compliance, prepare reports and drive continuous improvement initiatives related to resilience and safety.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in business continuity, crisis management or related fields.
• Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders and lead cross‑functional initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on risk assessment and incident investigation.
• Familiarity with HSSE governance, reporting and compliance processes.
