Specialist Consultant – Acute Medicine (Saudi Board)

About the role

We are looking for a highly qualified Specialist/Consultant in Acute Medicine, holding Saudi Board certification, to join our multidisciplinary team in Dubai. The role involves comprehensive assessment, rapid stabilization, and ongoing management of acutely ill adult patients in line with UAE healthcare standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients presenting with acute and undifferentiated medical conditions.
• Perform rapid clinical assessment, stabilization, and initiate appropriate treatment.
• Recognise and manage medical emergencies within the approved scope of practice.
• Request, interpret and act on laboratory, imaging and other diagnostic investigations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate admissions, referrals and transfers.
• Collaborate closely with emergency medicine, intensive care and other specialties.
• Participate in multidisciplinary clinical discussions, handovers and quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS, MBChB or equivalent) with Saudi Board certification in Acute Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Relevant specialist/consultant‑level clinical experience in acute medicine.
• Eligibility for, or possession of, a valid UAE Specialist/Consultant licence.
• Current Good Standing Certificate and required credentialing documents.
• Strong clinical assessment, decision‑making and communication abilities.
