Specialist Consultant – Endocrinology (Government Facility)

About the role

A leading Government Healthcare Facility in the UAE is seeking an experienced Specialist / Consultant – Endocrinology to join its specialized medical team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive care for patients with endocrine and metabolic disorders, managing complex cases through evidence‑based diagnosis, treatment and long‑term follow‑up. The role offers the chance to work alongside multidisciplinary teams in a well‑established clinical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, evaluate and manage a broad range of endocrine and metabolic disorders, including diabetes, thyroid, adrenal, pituitary and osteoporosis.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment, laboratory investigations and imaging.
• Manage complex and high‑risk endocrine cases and provide specialist consultations.
• Monitor treatment response, adjust therapies and ensure patient safety and clinical governance.
• Provide counseling and education on disease management, lifestyle and long‑term care.
• Collaborate with primary care physicians, surgeons, cardiologists, nephrologists and other specialists.

Required profile

• Medical degree from a recognized institution and postgraduate qualification in Endocrinology / Endocrinology and Metabolism.
• Relevant specialist or consultant‑level clinical experience; UK CCT, American Board, Australian Board, German Board or equivalent are encouraged.
• Strong clinical experience in managing complex endocrine and metabolic conditions.
• Excellent diagnostic, clinical decision‑making and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
• Previous experience in a tertiary, teaching or government hospital is advantageous.
