Specialist Contracts – Offshore Contract Management

About the role

The Specialist Contracts role is responsible for developing and managing offshore contracts for ADNOC Logistics & Services. You will ensure compliance with legal regulations, negotiate terms, and provide contractual strategy advice to the management team.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Request for Expression of Interest (RFI) and assist in evaluating bidder responses.
• Examine scope of work and related information for completeness and consistency.
• Prepare comprehensive Invitation‑To‑Tender (ITT) packages and coordinate issuance to approved bidders.
• Manage all correspondence with bidders during the bidding period.
• Coordinate and attend technical and commercial bid openings.
• Evaluate unpriced commercial aspects of technical bids and commercial bids.
• Maintain and update contract logs, either computerized or manual.
• Establish procedures for transferring contracts to Operations after project demobilisation.
• Handle contractor claims and breaches, resolving issues on behalf of the company.
• Prepare recommendations for award and issue Notices of Award.
• Draft contract documents reflecting agreed changes to ITT packages.
• Provide contractual advice to end users and prepare related correspondence.
• Proofread, edit, and verify legal documentation for accuracy and consistency.
• Review and evaluate variations and claims, preparing recommendations for approval.

Required profile

• Proven experience in offshore contract development and management.
• Strong knowledge of legal regulations governing maritime and logistics contracts.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate contract terms and provide strategic advice.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills for interacting with end users, consultants, and bidders.
• Experience handling contractor claims, variations, and contract hand‑over processes.
