Specialist Cybersecurity Analyst – Emirati Talent

About the role

EDGE Group’s Advanced Concepts division is seeking a Specialist Cybersecurity Analyst to strengthen its security operations in a classified environment. The role focuses on monitoring, detecting, and responding to cyber threats across a range of high‑technology autonomous systems.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security events from SIEM, EDR, DLP and network security tools.
• Detect, triage, investigate and respond to incidents in classified settings.
• Analyse cyber threats, attack patterns and suspicious activities.
• Correlate logs from multiple sources for threat analysis.
• Perform vulnerability analysis and track remediation efforts.
• Investigate unauthorized access, malware infections and data exfiltration attempts.
• Maintain incident records, forensic evidence and compliance reports.
• Support SIEM tuning, use‑case development and alert optimisation.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to embed security into projects.
• Assist with risk assessments, audits and compliance activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, IT, Computer Science or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in SOC operations or incident response.
• Experience working in classified or high‑security environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800‑53 and NIST SP 800‑171 standards.
• Relevant certifications such as Security+, CySA+, CEH or CISSP are a plus.
