Specialist Cybersecurity Analyst (Emirati Talent)

About the role

ADVANCED CONCEPTS, a division of EDGE, designs and deploys cutting‑edge autonomous systems and high‑technology munitions. The team is seeking an Emirati specialist to monitor, detect and respond to cyber threats in classified environments.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse security events from SIEM, EDR, DLP and network security tools.
• Perform incident detection, triage, investigation and response, including handling malware infections and data exfiltration attempts.
• Identify and analyse cyber‑threats, attack patterns and suspicious activities using MITRE ATT&CK.
• Conduct vulnerability analysis, support remediation tracking and assist with patch management.
• Maintain incident records, forensic evidence and ensure compliance with NIST SP 800‑53 and NIST SP 800‑171.
• Support tuning of SIEM use cases, improve alert accuracy and collaborate with IT on security integration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, IT, Computer Science or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, SOC or incident response.
• Hands‑on experience with SIEM, EDR/XDR and log analysis in high‑security or classified environments.
• Knowledge of cyber‑threats, attack vectors and vulnerability management.
• Familiarity with network protocols, security tools and NIST security frameworks.
