Specialist Dermatologist – Abu Dhabi

About the role

We are looking for a qualified and patient‑focused Specialist Dermatologist to join a leading healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will provide evidence‑based diagnosis, treatment and management of a broad spectrum of skin, hair and nail disorders, and perform minor dermatological procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic dermatological conditions affecting skin, hair and nails.
• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history and physical examinations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans using medical, procedural and preventive approaches.
• Perform minor dermatological procedures such as skin biopsies, cryotherapy, electrocautery, excisions and lesion removal.
• Educate patients on skin health, preventive care and treatment compliance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and comply with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education activities.

Required profile

• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent).
• Postgraduate qualification in Dermatology (MD, DNB, Arab Board, MRCP, FCPS or equivalent).
• Eligibility for specialist registration with the UAE health authority (DOH/DHA/MOH) or a valid UAE specialist licence.
