Specialist Emergency Physician (Locum)

About the role

The Specialist Emergency Physician (Locum) will deliver patient‑centred, evidence‑based consultant level care at Mediclinic Parkview Hospital. The role requires adherence to ethical standards and regulatory requirements set by UAE health authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, professional, and ethical clinical services to emergency patients.
• Monitor and manage clinical risks associated with direct patient care.
• Ensure compliance with clinical governance and quality management standards.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date medical records.
• Promote continuous professional development for self and colleagues.
• Uphold integrity by delivering services responsibly and ethically.

Required profile

• Basic medical degree and a recognised specialty qualification/fellowship or diploma approved by the UAE healthcare authority.
• Current certification and registration in a medical specialty recognised by the UAE authority.
• Active, valid life‑support certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, NRP).
• 3–5 years post‑qualification experience at specialist level (independent of country).
• Preferably at least 1 year specialist experience in a Tier 1 country as defined by the UAE regulator.
• Eligibility for consideration under the UAE Emiratization programme.
