Specialist Endocrinologist – Adult Care

About the role

The Imperial College London Diabetes & Endocrine Centre (ICLDEC) is seeking an experienced Specialist Endocrinologist to join its multidisciplinary adult care team. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality outpatient endocrine services within a patient‑centered, evidence‑based environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive endocrine consultations and follow‑up care for adult patients.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of endocrine and metabolic disorders, including diabetes, thyroid, adrenal, pituitary and hormonal imbalances.
• Support chronic disease management through evidence‑based, patient‑centered care plans.
• Collaborate closely with diabetologists, educators, dietitians and other specialists to ensure integrated care.
• Participate in on‑call duties or clinical rotations as required.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Medical degree with recognized specialty qualification in Endocrinology.
• Minimum 3‑5 years post‑qualification experience in endocrinology or internal medicine with an endocrine focus.
• Strong clinical expertise in managing chronic endocrine conditions in outpatient settings.
• Excellent communication, diagnostic and teamwork skills.
• DOH Specialist Endocrinologist licensure or eligibility.
