Specialist Gastroenterologist – Full‑Time in Dubai

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Specialist Gastroenterologist to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai on a full‑time basis. The role involves comprehensive diagnosis, management and endoscopic treatment of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary conditions with a patient‑centered approach.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consultation, diagnosis and management of disorders affecting the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon, liver, gallbladder and pancreas.
• Diagnose and treat GERD, gastritis, peptic ulcer disease, IBS, IBD, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, celiac disease and other inflammatory or malabsorptive conditions.
• Manage liver diseases such as fatty liver, hepatitis, cirrhosis and related complications.
• Perform or assist with gastroscopy, colonoscopy, biopsies, polypectomy and other therapeutic endoscopic procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, pathologists and nutritionists to deliver multidisciplinary care.
• Participate in clinical audits, research, teaching and continuing medical education activities.

Required profile

• MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Gastroenterology.
• Board certification or equivalent specialist qualification and eligibility for DHA specialist license.
• Minimum 5 years of post‑specialization experience in gastroenterology, including strong clinical exposure to hepatobiliary disorders.
• Experience in gastroscopy and colonoscopy is highly desirable; therapeutic endoscopy is an added advantage.
