Specialist in Internal Medicine

About the role

A leading healthcare facility in the UAE is looking for an experienced Specialist in Internal Medicine to work on site in Dubai. The specialist diagnoses and manages a wide range of adult medical conditions, providing comprehensive care for both acute illnesses and chronic diseases.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions in adult patients, including diabetes, hypertension, respiratory diseases, cardiovascular disorders and gastrointestinal illnesses.
• Carry out comprehensive medical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Interpret laboratory results, imaging studies and other diagnostic investigations.
• Manage complex cases and coordinate referrals to relevant specialists when needed.
• Provide preventive healthcare, routine health assessments and patient education.
• Monitor treatment outcomes and ensure continuity of care through follow-up consultations.
• Maintain accurate medical records and uphold high standards of patient safety and clinical care.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• MD/DNB in Internal Medicine or an equivalent postgraduate qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of post-specialization experience preferred.
• Experience managing a broad range of adult medical conditions.
• Strong clinical judgment, diagnostic ability and patient communication skills.
