Specialist Ophthalmologist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Specialist Ophthalmologist to join our leading healthcare facility in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role involves diagnosing and treating a wide range of eye disorders while providing comprehensive ophthalmic care.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage eye diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts, and diabetic retinopathy.
• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and assess visual function.
• Perform ophthalmic procedures and minor eye surgeries within clinical expertise.
• Develop individualized treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and refer complex cases when needed.
• Educate patients on eye health, disease prevention, and treatment options.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• Post‑graduate qualification in Ophthalmology (MS, MD, DNB or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years of post‑specialisation experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic abilities.
• Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills
