Specialist Orthopedic Surgeon

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Orthopedic Surgeon to provide specialist surgical care for patients with musculoskeletal conditions such as scoliosis, fractures, dislocations, and tendon or ligament injuries. The role involves comprehensive patient management from diagnosis through post‑operative rehabilitation.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with patients, review medical data and determine treatment goals.
• Diagnose bone, joint, ligament or other musculoskeletal problems.
• Collaborate with other specialists to design optimal treatment plans.
• Maintain detailed patient records, including notes, tests and prescribed treatments.
• Administer general and local anesthetics when required.
• Perform surgical procedures including bone plating, tendon/ligament reattachment, joint and hip replacements.
• Prescribe medication for pain control and recovery.
• Refer patients to physical therapy or perform non‑invasive procedures such as casting and splinting.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans and provide long‑term care advice.
• Conduct research on musculoskeletal disorders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, physical sciences or a related field.
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
• 4–7 years of internship and residency training in orthopedic surgery.
• Successful completion of USMLE or COMLEX‑USA.
• Certification by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
