Specialist Piping Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Specialist Piping Engineer to support a major upstream Oil & Gas project in Abu Dhabi. The role involves providing specialist piping engineering support, reviewing EPC contractor deliverables, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, international codes, and ADNOC standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide specialist piping engineering support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and assess EPC contractor deliverables for compliance with specifications and codes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 15+ years of relevant Oil & Gas piping engineering experience, preferably in upstream projects such as gas processing or treatment.
• Strong experience in FEED, concept study, design and detail engineering, and prior work in a PMC environment.
• Familiarity with ADNOC projects and standards.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ASME B31.3 piping code.
• Understanding of piping materials, pipe classes, layout and design practices.
• Experience with sour service / H₂S facilities and associated material requirements (advantageous).
