About the role

Healthpoint, a multi‑specialty hospital in Abu Dhabi, is seeking a Specialist Plastic Surgeon to join its multidisciplinary team. The role involves delivering comprehensive plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgical care with a focus on patient‑centered outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, evaluate and manage patients requiring plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic procedures.
• Perform a broad range of plastic surgery operations in line with clinical privileges and standards of care.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and provide pre‑operative, operative and post‑operative care.
• Manage trauma‑related soft‑tissue injuries, burns, scars and congenital or acquired deformities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including dermatology, oncology, orthopedics, ENT, breast surgery and rehabilitation.
• Maintain accurate medical records, participate in outpatient clinics, on‑call duties and quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) recognized by the Abu Dhabi Department of Health.
• Accredited residency and board certification in Plastic Surgery (Arab, European, American, Canadian, UK, Australian or equivalent).
• Eligibility for DOH licensure as a Specialist Plastic Surgeon.
• 3–5 years of post‑specialisation experience in a reputable healthcare setting.
• Proven expertise in reconstructive, cosmetic and microsurgical procedures.
