Specialist Project Engineer – Offshore Island Project

About the role

The Specialist Project Engineer will lead engineering activities for an offshore island project, coordinating multidisciplinary teams during the Execute phase. The role ensures deliverables meet technical, schedule, cost and client standards while maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee multi‑disciplinary engineering activities during the execute phase.
• Monitor progress and quality of deliverables across process, piping, structural, electrical, instrumentation and HSE disciplines.
• Review and manage EPC contractor engineering outputs, ensuring compliance with schedule and quality standards.
• Track schedule, cost and progress, supporting risk identification and mitigation.
• Manage interfaces with client (ADNOC Offshore), contractors and third‑party stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical or related engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 15 years of oil & gas project engineering experience, including 5‑7 years in offshore execute/detailed engineering.
• Experience with offshore island process, storage and export facilities.
• Prior involvement in PMC or ADNOC Offshore projects is highly preferred.
