Specialist Project Management – PMO Integration & Engineering

About the role

Specialist – PMO (Integration, Engineering & Management) is a high‑impact hybrid role that bridges strategic project governance with hands‑on technical execution. Reporting to project leadership, the specialist uses an engineering background to drive delivery, remove technical bottlenecks and ensure PMO standards are met across defence programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Execute feasibility analyses, technical documentation, change‑order reviews and maintain risk registers as assigned by project leadership.
• Review engineering designs, feasibility studies and technical specifications for compliance with organisational goals and international standards.
• Allocate engineering talent, equipment and capital across competing projects to eliminate bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to define scope, technical requirements and milestone criteria, ensuring alignment between PMO governance and engineering execution.
• Coordinate between engineering disciplines, external contractors and suppliers to streamline communication and accelerate problem‑solving.
• Monitor and report progress of action items using PMO tools, providing transparent status on resources and blockers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Systems or Software Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years experience in the defence industry and 5 years in a PMO environment.
• Strong knowledge of system installation in aircraft and proven supplier relationship management.
