Specialist Rheumatologist – Dubai

About the role

A leading hospital in Dubai is seeking an experienced Specialist Rheumatologist to join its growing medical team. The role involves comprehensive diagnosis, treatment and long‑term management of rheumatological, musculoskeletal and autoimmune conditions within a modern multidisciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of rheumatological and autoimmune conditions.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and musculoskeletal examinations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and investigations.
• Manage inflammatory arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, gout, lupus, ankylosing spondylitis and other rheumatological disorders.
• Interpret laboratory investigations and diagnostic imaging.
• Perform joint and soft‑tissue injections as appropriate.
• Collaborate with orthopaedists, physiotherapists, internists and other healthcare professionals.

Required profile

• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) with a recognised postgraduate qualification in Rheumatology.
• Proven experience as a Specialist Rheumatologist, preferably managing complex cases.
• Strong diagnostic, clinical decision‑making and patient management skills.
• Eligibility for DHA, DOH, MOH or SHA licensing.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
