Specialist Scheduler / Cost Engineer

About the role

KBR is expanding its Project Management Consultancy team for a high‑profile offshore development with ADNOC in Abu Dhabi. The Specialist Scheduler / Cost Engineer will support planning, scheduling, cost control and performance monitoring for offshore projects, ensuring delivery within approved time and budget.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, update and maintain integrated project schedules using Primavera P6, including WBS and coding structures.
• Prepare baseline schedules for engineering, procurement, construction, installation, hook‑up and commissioning phases.
• Perform critical‑path analysis, monitor schedule performance and create recovery plans for slippages.
• Establish and maintain Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) and project budgets, track commitments, expenditures and forecasts.
• Prepare Estimate at Completion (EAC) and Estimate to Complete (ETC) and conduct variance analysis.
• Review contractor invoices, change orders and variation requests.
• Set up progress measurement systems, monitor physical progress and produce regular status reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project scheduling and cost control for large‑scale engineering or offshore projects.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify deviations and recommend corrective actions.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities to work with engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning teams.
