Specialist Static & Package Equipment Engineer – Offshore Project

About the role

KBR is expanding its Project Management Consultancy team for a high‑profile offshore development in Abu Dhabi. The Specialist Static and Package Equipment Engineer will provide expert engineering support for the design, procurement, fabrication, installation and commissioning of static and packaged equipment on offshore oil and gas facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and review engineering design of static equipment including pressure vessels, columns & towers, heat exchangers, storage tanks, pig launchers, filters, separators, flare knockout drums, scrubbers and reactor vessels.
• Review and approve package equipment deliverables such as chemical injection, produced water treatment, fuel‑gas conditioning, air‑compressor, nitrogen generation, desalination, utility skids and metering packages.
• Prepare and review equipment datasheets, material requisitions, technical bid evaluations, technical queries and vendor document reviews.
• Ensure all designs comply with ADNOC offshore standards, ASME Section VIII, API, TEMA, NACE and relevant ISO codes.
• Support procurement activities, participate in vendor clarification meetings and evaluate technical proposals.
• Coordinate with fabrication yards and vendors for inspection, installation and commissioning activities.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Petroleum Engineering.
• Extensive experience in offshore static and packaged equipment engineering.
• Strong knowledge of ADNOC standards and international codes (ASME, API, TEMA, NACE, ISO).
• Proven ability to manage technical procurement and vendor interfaces.

Required skills

• Pressure vessel and heat‑exchanger design.

• Package equipment design (chemical injection, water treatment, gas conditioning, compressors, nitrogen generation, desalination, utility skids, metering).
