Specialist Structural Engineer

About the role

Worley is seeking a Specialist Structural Engineer to provide expert technical support for civil and structural activities on ADNOC offshore projects. The role spans the full project lifecycle, from front‑end engineering design (FEED) through detailed engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver specialist civil and structural engineering support across all project phases.
• Review and approve EPC contractor deliverables, including calculations, drawings, specifications and technical reports.
• Perform structural analysis and design for offshore facilities such as jackets, topsides, decks, bridges, modules, pipe racks and foundations.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards, international codes, project specifications and HSE requirements.
• Participate in design reviews, HAZID, HAZOP, constructability and model reviews, and technical workshops.
• Support procurement through technical bid evaluation, vendor document review and material approval.
• Provide technical assistance during site visits, fabrication, offshore installation and commissioning.

Required profile

• Professional engineering degree in civil or structural engineering.
• Proven experience on offshore structural projects, preferably within the oil & gas sector.
• Strong knowledge of ADNOC specifications, international design codes and industry best practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
