About the role
Penspen is seeking a Senior Specialist Technical HSE to lead safety and risk management for onshore and offshore gas processing projects in the United Arab Emirates. The role requires extensive experience in the oil and gas sector, focusing on technical safety reviews and ensuring compliance with HSE standards.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct technical safety reviews and risk assessments for project designs and operations.
- Develop and implement HSE procedures, ensuring alignment with local and international regulations.
- Provide expert guidance to project teams on safety and environmental matters.
- Coordinate with clients such as ADNOC and manage PMC interfaces.
- Monitor and report HSE performance metrics throughout project lifecycles.
Required profile
- Engineering degree (any discipline).
- NEBOSH IGC certification.
- Minimum 17 years of overall experience, including at least 10 years in oil & gas.
- 5+ years in a technical HSE role on oil & gas projects.
- Experience on ADNOC projects and PMC environments is an advantage.
