Specialist Water Operability

About the role

The Specialist Water Operability will support EWEC in developing and executing strategies that ensure optimal performance of Abu Dhabi’s water supply system. The role focuses on integrating new capacity, demand‑management measures and decarbonisation initiatives while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement water system operability strategies aligned with EWEC’s strategic objectives.
• Conduct in‑depth performance analyses and maintain operability models.
• Lead projects aimed at improving system efficiency, resilience and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare and manage technical documentation and reporting.
• Mentor junior team members and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 month of relevant experience in water utilities or related engineering fields.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
