Specialized Engineer – Energy & Sustainability

About the role

We are seeking a Specialized Engineer – Energy & Sustainability to support our Energy & Sustainability Manager within the Total Facilities Management team in Dubai. The role focuses on research, analysis, audits and implementation of energy and water efficiency projects while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct energy, water and waste audits (ASHRAE Level 1‑3) and prepare detailed action plans.
• Perform financial analysis of energy conservation measures, including ROI, payback period and life‑cycle cost assessments.
• Monitor utility consumption, verify savings, and review utility bills.
• Support preparation of project budgets, business cases and capital expenditure proposals.
• Serve as technical focal point for clients, preparing ESG and sustainability reports and assisting with certification processes.
• Coordinate with facility teams, contractors and vendors to implement improvement projects.
• Develop and maintain energy management policies and deliver training and awareness programs.

Required profile

• Engineering background with experience in energy management or sustainability.
• Strong analytical skills for financial and performance assessments.
• Ability to interact with clients and stakeholders and present technical findings.
• Willingness to work irregular hours and travel to remote sites when needed.
