Specialty Coffee Café Supervisor

About the role

ShuraBridge is hiring an experienced, hands-on Specialty Coffee Café Supervisor in Dubai to run the daily operations of a specialty coffee café. The role covers the coffee bar, hot and cold kitchen, purchasing, inventory, store management, staff supervision and customer experience, with a commercial focus on sales growth, customer loyalty and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the coffee bar, hot and cold kitchen and front-of-house, ensuring consistent coffee quality, equipment maintenance and smooth coordination between baristas, kitchen and service teams.
• Monitor stock levels, place orders with approved suppliers, receive and verify goods, record them in Sapaad and handle shortages, damage and returns.
• Manage inventory through Sapaad, reconcile stock counts, monitor food costs and wastage, and apply FIFO/FEFO practices.
• Drive sales growth by promoting upselling, supporting loyalty programmes and promotions, and analysing sales trends to improve menu performance.
• Train staff on coffee quality, menu knowledge, customer service and upselling, manage duty rosters and ensure hygiene, food safety and Dubai Municipality compliance.
• Prepare daily sales, purchasing, inventory and wastage reports and recommend improvements to revenue and profitability.

Required profile

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in UAE café operations, preferably in a specialty coffee setting.
• Experience supervising hot and cold kitchen operations and café food menus.
• Proven experience in supplier ordering, goods receiving, stock management and cost control.
• Ability to supervise teams and manage daily café operations independently.

Required skills

• Strong practical understanding of specialty coffee, barista operations, coffee equipment and beverage quality standards.
• Hands-on knowledge of Sapaad POS and inventory management strongly preferred.
• Excellent customer service, leadership and communication skills, with a commercial awareness focused on customer acquisition and retention.
