Sr Offshore Material Coordinator

About the role

The Senior Offshore Material Coordinator will lead end‑to‑end material management for offshore projects, ensuring timely and compliant delivery of tools, equipment and consumables from identification through to project close‑out.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute material management processes, from procurement to offshore delivery and final inventory reconciliation.
• Develop, apply and continuously improve project‑specific material procedures.
• Oversee procurement, tracking, storage, issuance, certification and preservation of materials, tools and equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, calibration logs and photographic documentation.
• Coordinate logistics, customs documentation and sea transport load‑outs, ensuring safe and on‑time offshore delivery.
• Generate material issuance notes, status reports and RTS documentation for project close‑out.
• Lead the material and logistics team, supervising storekeepers and promoting safety and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Diploma in a related discipline or equivalent certification in logistics/supply‑chain management.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in material and logistics coordination, preferably in offshore oil & gas/EPCI projects.
• Valid offshore training certifications and ability to work in KSA logistics environments.
• Strong English communication skills, both spoken and written.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience using SAP or comparable Oracle‑based ERP tools.
• Ability to develop tool/equipment lists and manage offshore store operations.
