Sr. Specialist Accountant - Cost Accounting

About the role

AL TARIQ is seeking a Senior Specialist Accountant to lead cost accounting, budgeting and forecasting activities for its precision‑guided systems manufacturing projects. The role supports accurate financial reporting, project cost analysis and monthly closing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform full project costing, understand contracts and present monthly, YTD and project‑to‑date financial results.
• Prepare Estimated at Completion (EAC) calculations for each project.
• Develop and validate product costing for all items included in projects.
• Coordinate the annual budget and forecast process for the company.
• Generate monthly management reports for senior management and upload them to Hyperian and EDGE portals.
• Create new assets in SAP and verify against approved Capex budgets.
• Ensure proper expense classification during month‑end, including WIP transfers and cost variance calculations.
• Prepare cash‑flow forecasts and manage letters of credit/guarantee with banks.

Required profile

• Minimum 120 months (10 years) of experience in cost accounting or related finance functions.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing accounting systems and project‑based financial reporting.
• Ability to work closely with project managers as a business partner.
