Staff Nurse – Dermatology Clinic (TP)

About the role

The Staff Nurse will work in the Dermatology Clinic, delivering a wide range of specialised procedures and patient‑centred care. The role requires performing clinical tasks, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring compliance with JCIA standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform wound dressing, suture removal, and blood extraction with centrifugation for Platelet‑Rich Plasma (PRP).
• Administer ultraviolet therapy, assist with electrocautery, mole mapping, iontophoresis, microneedling radiofrequency, fractional laser, broadband light, Erbium YAG laser and vascular laser procedures.
• Assist in skin excisions, biopsies, incision and drainage, cryotherapy, patch tests, mesotherapy and HydraFacial treatments.
• Conduct patient assessments, document care plans, coordinate clinical pathways and prioritize care based on individual needs.
• Maintain supplies and equipment, handle narcotic/controlled drugs safely, and participate in CQI activities and staff meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (or equivalent two‑year degree) with a valid registration in the home country.
• Minimum two years recent post‑graduate experience in dermatology nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certifications.
• Ability to assess physical and psychological needs of patients and families.
