Staff Nurse – Interventional Radiology (TP)

About the role

Provides support and assistance across a range of medical procedures within the Medical Imaging department, including nuclear medicine cardiac stress tests, renal creatinine POCT, gastrostomy tube changes and various interventional radiology procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with conscious sedation, monitor vitals and document patient status during radiology procedures.
• Perform renal creatinine blood tests using point‑of‑care testing (POCT).
• Support gastrostomy tube changes or replacements.
• Assist with insertion, access, blood sampling, flushing, locking and removal of implanted ports.
• Conduct lumbar punctures, paracentesis, percutaneous liver biopsies, percutaneous nephrostomy tube insertions and PICC line care (sampling, dressing changes, flushing, drug administration).
• Administer moderate sedation and assist with thoracentesis and transjugular liver biopsies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Degree in Nursing with registration from Canada, USA, UK, Ireland, South Africa, New Zealand or Australia (or UAE nationals as per local rules).
• Valid nursing license in home country or last place of employment.
• Minimum two years recent post‑graduate experience in Medical Imaging Nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
