Staff Nurse – Plastic Surgery Clinic

About the role

The American Hospital Dubai is seeking a full‑time Staff Nurse to work in its Plastic Surgery Clinic. The role involves delivering patient‑centered care, performing specialised clinical procedures, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Execute negative pressure wound therapy, wound dressing, and skin staple/clip removal.
• Assist with breast augmentation post‑reconstruction, electrocautery, skin excisions, biopsies, and incision & drainage procedures.
• Perform suture removal, blood extraction, and centrifuge for Platelet‑Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy.
• Conduct patient assessments, document care, maintain supplies, and ensure compliance with JCIA standards.
• Participate in unit meetings, continuous quality improvement activities, and mandatory education.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (minimum 2‑3 years) and registration as a Registered Nurse from an approved country.
• Minimum two years recent post‑graduate experience in plastic surgery nursing.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certifications.
• Ability to work onsite in Dubai and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
