Staff Nurse – VIP Wing (Tower A8)

About the role

The Staff Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care in the VIP Wing (Tower A8) of SSMC, coordinating patient care, education, and transitions. This role supports professional nursing practice across the continuum of care, adhering to Abu Dhabi and UAE nursing standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients holistically, including physical, psychosocial, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual needs, and document findings.
• Develop and modify individualized care plans in partnership with patients, families, and the healthcare team, using evidence‑based practices.
• Administer medications and perform treatments according to organizational policies and procedural guidelines.
• Provide health education and promotion, utilizing appropriate teaching strategies and documenting outcomes.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years clinical nursing experience post‑qualification (experience requirement waived for UAE nursing graduates after internship).
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent two‑year nursing degree.
• Registration as a Registered Nurse with a recognized authority (Canada, USA, UK, Ireland, South Africa, New Zealand, Australia) and a valid license.
