Standards & Specification Assistant

About the role

The Standards & Specification Assistant will support Emirates Flight Catering’s production operations by ensuring accurate data integration, inventory planning, and adherence to food specifications. The role works closely with Master Data, Planning, Forecasting and Specification teams to maintain high‑quality standards across all catering outputs.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and validate the collection of ERP process data, integrating it into workflows and generating comprehensive reports.
• Calculate daily meal quantities and raw material requirements, aligning them with forecasts to optimise inventory and minimise waste.
• Re‑verify recipe accuracy and ensure consistency with established standards.
• Coordinate with Master Data, Planning, Forecasting and Specification teams to provide up‑to‑date information for seamless operations.
• Maintain master data such as item codes, bill of materials, product specifications and Flight Catering Solutions (FCS) data.
• Generate and distribute forecast data to internal stakeholders using available forecasting tools.
• Distribute production schedules and work orders, streamlining workflow and task execution.
• Manage material requisitions and address inventory discrepancies to support continuous production.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within food production or catering.
• Experience with food photography is considered an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems.
• Food photography skills.
