Steward – Hotel Kitchen Support

About the role

Exceptional hospitality starts with you. As a steward at the Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah, you will be the backbone of the kitchen, keeping it sparkling clean and ensuring smooth operations while delivering memorable experiences for every guest.

Key responsibilities

• Operate pot‑washing machinery and maintain a hygienic working environment in line with hygiene regulations.
• Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, washing up, and emptying rubbish bins.
• Ensure all kitchen and back‑of‑house areas are cleaned according to the schedule and equipment is maintained.
• Manage waste practices including recycling, composting and proper disposal.
• Use appropriate PPE, follow COSHH guidelines and report any maintenance or safety hazards.

Required profile

• Proficiency in various cleaning techniques and proper use of cleaning agents and equipment.
• Strong understanding of hygiene standards and sanitation protocols.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, including safe handling of chemicals.
• Basic equipment maintenance knowledge to keep tools and machinery in good condition.
