About the role
The Steward provides essential kitchen support across hotel food and beverage areas, ensuring cleanliness and smooth operation of dining services. This full‑time position involves handling dishware, operating cleaning equipment, and maintaining high standards of hygiene for guests and staff.
Key responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, dining ware, and linens to hotel standards.
- Operate dishwashing machines and hand‑wash stations safely and efficiently.
- Transport dishware and supplies between kitchen, restaurant, and employee dining areas.
- Follow all company safety, security, and quality policies, reporting any issues promptly.
Required profile
- No formal education required; high school diploma or GED not mandatory.
- No prior work experience or supervisory experience required.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift and carry objects up to 25 lb without assistance.
- Professional appearance, clear communication, and a commitment to teamwork.
Required skills
- Operate dishwashing machines.
- Use hand‑wash stations for cleaning and sanitising.
