Steward – Kitchen Support (Full‑Time)

About the role

The Steward provides essential kitchen support across hotel departments, ensuring clean and ready dining ware, linens and equipment for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and prepare linen, dining ware and kitchen tools.
• Operate and maintain dishwashing machines and hand‑wash stations.
• Transport dishware between kitchen, employee dining and other areas.
• Follow all company safety, security and hygiene policies.
• Report maintenance needs, accidents or unsafe conditions to the manager.
• Complete required safety training and certifications.
• Maintain a clean, professional uniform and personal appearance.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and guests.
• Perform physical tasks such as standing for long periods, reaching overhead, and lifting objects up to 25 lb.
• Assist with any other reasonable duties requested by supervisors.

Required profile

• No specific education requirement; high school diploma or GED not mandatory.
• No prior related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience or certifications required.
