Steward – Luxury Hotel in Dubai

About the role

The Steward will support kitchen and service teams at The Meydan Hotel, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and service excellence in a fast‑paced, luxury environment. This role is essential to maintaining a safe and welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen, restaurant, and service areas at all times.
• Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, glassware, cutlery, and kitchen equipment according to hotel standards.
• Assist chefs and service staff with basic kitchen and service support tasks during peak hours.
• Handle waste disposal, recycling, and chemical storage in line with hotel procedures.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to supervisors.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, luxury hotel environment.
• Good teamwork and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Physical stamina to stand for long hours and perform manual tasks.

Required skills

• HACCP knowledge and compliance.
• Understanding of food safety regulations.
