About the role
The Stewarding Shift Leader oversees cleaning operations across hotel departments, ensuring that linen, dishware and other items are prepared, cleaned and transported efficiently for guest use. This role supports the hotel’s food and beverage, kitchen and laundry areas by maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain a safe workplace by following company policies, reporting accidents, injuries and unsafe conditions to the manager.
- Handle, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects up to 50 lb without assistance and perform prolonged standing, walking, bending, twisting and reaching tasks.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as dishwashing machines, hand‑wash stations, and linen washers and dryers.
Required profile
- No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
- No prior related work or supervisory experience required.
- No specific license or certification required.
