Stewarding Supervisor – Luxury Hotel

About the role

Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai is seeking a Stewarding Supervisor to lead its back‑of‑house cleaning and hygiene operations. You will ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety and equipment care across all service areas while supporting the Assistant Manager of Back of House.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Back of House Assistant Manager with scheduling, inter‑departmental coordination and performance monitoring.
• Supervise the stewarding team in dishwashing, waste disposal and hygiene maintenance, ensuring equipment functions correctly.
• Manage stock and inventory of operating equipment and supplies, control chemical usage and minimise breakage.
• Support safety, health and environmental standards by reporting incidents, assisting pest control and participating in HACCP and FLHSSE activities.

Required profile

• Degree or Higher National Diploma in Hospitality, Hotel or Business Management preferred; minimum high school qualification.
• At least 2 years’ experience in a stewarding supervisory role within a five‑star luxury hotel.
• Previous experience working in the Middle East (UAE, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar) or other GCC countries.
• Proven ability to lead large, multicultural teams while maintaining service excellence.
• Strong organisational skills to manage complex tasks, external events and departmental procedures.
