Stewarding Utility Cleaner – Hotel Operations

About the role

Our Utility Cleaners support vital hotel functions by maintaining cleanliness across departments such as kitchen, food‑and‑beverage and laundry. In this stewarding role you will ensure fresh linen, spotless dining ware and clean equipment are ready for guests, while upholding safety and quality standards. You will work closely with other hotel teams to achieve common goals and ensure a safe, pleasant environment for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and clean linen, dining ware and other hotel items for guest use.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment including dish washing machines, hand wash stations and linen washers/dryers.
• Transport dishware and linens throughout the property, moving items up to 50 lb without assistance.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, food‑and‑beverage and laundry areas.
• Support other departments by responding to urgent cleaning requests.
• Ensure equipment is stored properly after use.
• Follow safety procedures, report accidents or unsafe conditions, and maintain a professional appearance.

Required profile

• No high school diploma or GED required.
• No prior related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
