Stock Coordinator

About the role

Stock Coordinator is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and storing merchandise while maintaining accurate stock levels and ensuring a seamless flow of products from the stockroom to the sales floor. The role works closely with store management, sales associates, and other team members to uphold high standards of organization.

Key responsibilities

• Receive merchandise and count it physically and electronically to ensure accuracy.
• Inspect product quality and report any damaged items to the store manager or assistant manager.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of merchandise to prevent damage.
• Classify and stock products in the stockroom according to store procedures for quick availability.
• Tag newly arrived stock and process returns as instructed by senior staff.
• Assist sales staff in replenishing shelves to maintain product availability.
• Maintain vigilance regarding store security and uphold housekeeping standards.
• Record inventory movements (inward/outward) and generate related reports.
• Check for missing price tags and report discrepancies.
• Support stock‑take processes as needed.

Required profile

• Strong organizational skills.
• Familiarity with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track and manage stock.
• Previous experience in a similar stock, warehouse, or logistics role.
