About the role
The Stock Coordinator is responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing merchandise and maintaining accurate stock levels. The role ensures a smooth flow of products from the stockroom to the sales floor while working closely with store management and sales staff.
Key responsibilities
- Receive merchandise, count it physically and electronically, and verify accuracy.
- Inspect product quality, report damages, and ensure proper storage to prevent further issues.
- Classify, tag, and stock products according to store procedures for quick availability.
- Assist sales staff in replenishing shelves and support stock‑take processes.
- Maintain inventory records for inward and outward movements and report missing price tags.
- Uphold security vigilance and housekeeping standards throughout the store.
Required profile
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 10 kg regularly.
- Willing to work extended hours during sales or festival periods.
- Strong attention to security and ability to maintain a safe environment.
- Commitment to high housekeeping and organizational standards.
