Store Keeper

About the role

The Store Keeper will manage all store and warehouse activities for contracting projects, ensuring that materials, tools and equipment are received, recorded, stored and issued efficiently. This role supports oil & gas construction sites by maintaining accurate inventory and complying with HSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, verify, and record incoming materials, tools, and equipment against site requests, purchase orders, and delivery notes.
• Issue materials, consumables, and tools to project sites based on approved requisitions.
• Maintain accurate stock records using bin cards, stock ledgers, and real‑time system updates.
• Conduct regular stock checks and ensure proper storage, preservation, and handling to prevent damage or loss.
• Manage tool and equipment calibration, maintain servicing records, and track item returns.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on stock levels and material consumption.
• Handle petty cash funds, maintain transparent records, and process site reimbursements in line with company financial policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Store Keeper in contracting projects, preferably within oil & gas construction.
• Comprehensive knowledge of equipment, machinery, tools, power tools, and technical instruments.
• Deep understanding of contracting materials such as pipes, fittings, valves, fasteners, electrical/instrumentation items, structural steel, consumables, PPE, and safety items.
• Strong awareness of purchasing and procurement activities and standard warehousing processes.
• Basic technical knowledge to accurately read material specifications and technical datasheets.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP software and inventory management systems.
