Store Manager (Person in Charge)

About the role

The Person in Charge leads the entire store, ensuring that PCC policies and procedures are consistently applied. This role models professional customer service, oversees front‑end operations, and safeguards the safety of staff, customers, and store assets.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise front‑end staff, including cashiers, helper clerks, and courtesy clerks.
• Create and manage staff schedules and assign job responsibilities.
• Maintain a clean, orderly register area and ensure sanitation, cleanliness, and safety standards are met.
• Handle security issues responsibly and protect store property.
• Oversee equipment use, troubleshoot problems, and ensure compliance with store standards.
• Perform closing duties such as counting tills and completing end‑of‑day tasks.

Required profile

• Proven ability to deliver excellent, professional customer service.
• Available to work closing shifts, including weekends.
• Strong leadership and team‑coaching skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational ability.
